Project Name:  

“Concow / Yankee Hill – Strategic Fuel Breaks”

Funding for this project provided by the North Valley Community Foundation and the Butte Strong Fund.

“Concow / Yankee Hill – Strategic Fuel Breaks” will treat 200 acres of hazardous fuels including hazardous tree removal as follows:  (50) acres along Granite Ridge and Jordan Hill sections along the West Branch of the Feather River; (30) acres Crain Ridge section involving Concow Rd between Jordan Hill and Crain Ridge Rd, and Crain Ridge Rd; (30) acres in Camelot HOA, (20) acres Concow School, and (30) acres SDA Church – Pines Hardware.  It will allow us to assist (30) Resident Assistance Program (RAP) with defensible space completing (40) acres.
