Concow Fire Recovery Fund

Thank you to those who have supported and continue to support the Concow-Fire Recovery Fund. It allows us to provide several resources.
These help families to find stability and maintain hope with little things such as propane for cooking and heating. There are supply vouchers for household goods, building materials and counseling services. In addition, there are ongoing efforts to hand out seedlings, facilitate community meetings and hire crews for clean-up of vegetation and burn debris.
We hope you are able to continue giving—the needs in the community are still prevalent today. Trees continue to fall onto the roads and are cut or pushed aside so vehicles can pass. Hundreds of large trees have left debris littering the ground next to homes and roads—and it all needs to be cleaned up. As new growth covers and mixes with dry, dead trees, it creates a new fire hazard concern for the firefighters and the safety of our community.
